Peaklands Holiday Park is set in the village of
Stoney Middleton.
The holiday park is situated a third of a
mile from the centre of the village with panoramic views of
the surrounding countryside, including the villages of
Froggatt, Curbar and Eyam.
The actual village is small with a general
shop, two butchers and an Inn which serves food. There is an
octagonal church in the Nook, which is one of only two in
England.
Whether you enjoy walking or driving, there
is a wealth of interesting places to visit including the
magnificent Chatsworth House and Gardens, Haddon Hall and
Sudbury Hall. We are also conveniently situated for a day at
Alton Towers Adventure Park.
The Spa Towns of Matlock and Buxton are
close by as are the market towns of Bakewell, Ashbourne and
Leek.
The Peak National Park offers unspoilt,
beautiful scenery from magnificent moorlands and dramatic
gritstone outcrops or 'edge' such as Stanage, Frogatt,
Curbar and Baslow to gentle fertile valleys which make up
the Derbyshire Dales of Monsal Dale, Dovedale, Miller's Dale
and Lathkill Dale.
All caravans have two bedrooms; the
lounge/dining areas have gas fires; the kitchens have
fridges and a gas cooker; the bathrooms have flush toilets,
showers and wash basins.
The caravans also have all mains services
and will accommodate four adults or a family of six
(maximum).
Opening Dates:
1st March - 31st October each year
